We are former Counter IED specialists with real world operational experience. We understand how the specialist equipment is used and more importantly, the demands placed on equipment and operators in the current ‘high-threat’ environments in which they may be deployed.

Chris is the Chairman of the EPE Board of Advisors. Chris’s previous experience includes Director, ANZ Federal Government for Palo Alto Networks, Managing Director of Accenture Australia as well as General Manager Strategy for QinetiQ Australia. Prior to this Chris founded Rubikon, a business he grew to become a Defence Prime Vendor. Chris is a Veteran having served in the UK MOD and ADF as a Senior Logistics Officer for both Air Forces.
Major General (Ret’d) Professor Adam Findlay AO, Professor of Practice, Defence and Regional Security, Griffith University Asia Institute (External Client Advisor)
Adam recently retired from the Army after 37 years as a Major General, his last posting being Special Operations Commander for Australia (2017-2020). Adam was appointed to enhance the links between EPE, the Department of Defence, Research Partners and Defence Industry, as well as key Indo Pacific and US government stakeholders. He has a deep understanding of security issues, terrorism and the geo-political environment of the Indo-Pacific region.
Andrew Garth, Managing Director – DI Advisory Services (Government Relations)
Andrew is the founder of DI Advisory Services and is a highly regarded leader throughout the Defence industry well known for his passion for Australian Defence Industry and the Defence capability outcomes that our industry incubates, grows and delivers. Andrew’s career includes senior leadership roles within Defence SMEs, DefencePrimes and Commonwealth Government. Andrew established and was the General Manager of the Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) and its predecessor the Defence Industry Innovation Centre (DIIC).
