Position Opening – Capability Specialist

EPE is seeking applicants for the role of Capability Specialist to join our sales team for immediate start working from our Corporate HQ based in Fortitude Valley/Spring Hill, Brisbane.

About the Team

You will be working in a collaborative and integrated team of Capability Specialists, Business Development Managers, Marketing, R&D/Innovation, TLS and Support teams.

About the Role

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and developing sales leads, forecasting opportunities, preparing solutions and quotes for EPE core business capabilities including EOD & Search, CBRN, tactical ISR systems, unmanned ground and aerial systems, and exploitation cyber and counter drone systems

Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders

Be the primary point of contact for allocated capabilities and build long-term relationships with customers and OEMs

Managing customer relations and expectations, keeping current customers satisfied and delivering exceptional customer service

Undertaking demonstrations and trials of equipment, provide end user training with operational context

What We are Looking for

You will need to have a minimum of 5 years military or first responder operational experience (in one or more of EPE’s core business capability areas) OR a minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial environment working with Defence/Law Enforcement CBRNE procurement.

You must have the ability to liaise and build relationship with customers, suppliers and company stakeholders

You need to enjoy working towards KPIs and targets at a swift pace as part of a close-knit team

You will have strong verbal and written communication skills

You will be willing to travel interstate regularly, and occasionally overseas

You must be an Australian citizen and be capable of obtaining a Defence security clearance
