EPE is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators to explore and pursue careers in STEM fields.
Comment below from one of our current students:
“My name is Luke Krenske, and I’ve had the privilege of working with EPE since February of this year as part of my final-year research project. This experience has allowed me to apply my studies at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) to real-world applications, including work on electrical schematics and Printed Circuit Board design, firmware development, and the use of battery optimization techniques. For my undergraduate thesis, I’ve been working on Iteration 3 of the development of Wireless Monitoring of Explosive Hazard Training Aids, which is the development of a real-world application, named Intellibomb. This device aims to assist trainers in the evaluation of trainee explosive ordnance disposal technicians when undertaking an EOD Manual Access Render Safe training exercise.
EPE is providing me a rare opportunity to work in an open and collaborative environment where my ideas are valued, and my contributions to the project are genuinely appreciated, making this experience both professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling.”
