Here’s the iconic moment that Roo-ver hit the runway!
Roo-ver made its fashion show debut at SXSW Sydney with Fabrics of Modern Australia (FOMA), an event that put creativity and technology side by side.
As Roo-ver rolled down the catwalk, Chloe Chang from ELO₂ co-lead Lunar Outpost Oceania spoke with FOMA founder Sonia Sadiq Gandhi about how design, materials and prototyping help turn ideas into a rover that can work on the Moon.
The runway moment highlighted how form meets function – for both fashion and space engineering – and opened the Roo-ver Mission up to new audiences.
Roo-ver and Chloe are at SXSW2025 through the week, including SXSWUnlocked this weekend where the public can have a go at driving a mini lunar rover!
