SWIFT Through Wall Camera
The Through Wall Camera (TWC) is a precision surveillance camera that allows operators to gain covert visual access to rooms and areas through drywall or any small opening. The TWC can be deployed in multiple scenarios. Gain covert visual access by inserting the camera probe under door cracks or through narrow gaps in walls or structures.
The TWC consists of an ultra-miniature camera housed in a 2mm stainless steel camera probe, a Wall Punch, and Clearing Drill. The lengths of the Camera Probe, Wall Punch, and Clearing Drill are designed to make discreet entry to adjacent rooms through two layers of drywall. First, embed the Wall Punch into the drywall and use the Clearing Drill to bore a 2mm hole through the wall and into the adjacent room. Remove the Clearing Drill from the Wall Punch and insert the Camera Probe, where it magnetically attaches, to discretely obtain a wide angle view of the room.
Video from the TWC can be viewed in several different ways. The optional 1.0 inch AMOLED eyepiece on the TWC Body allows for quick viewing and doesn’t require any additional monitors. Additionally, video from the TWC can be streamed over a hardwire connection or over 802.11g to any Tactical Electronics monitor (TE1, TE4, TE5) or on an Android device with the TE View app.
The TWC features a rugged, locking Tactical Accessory Port (TAP) that provides USB 2.0, 100Mbps Ethernet, and 12VDC power in. The TWC also features Stand-By Mode to help preserve battery life and provide a quick return to video within 10 seconds.
