EPE has established an office in New Zealand to provide more focused and responsive service and support to New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) and New Zealand Police.
Having a local point of contact for our New Zealand customers will enable EPE to develop closer customer relationships and anticipate customer requirements and, as such, gain better lead time for service and equipment provision.
Iain Swan has been appointed as New Zealand Country Manager. Iain recently completed a 28 year career as an Ammunition Technical Officer in the military, firstly with the British then the New Zealand Army. He deployed to various theatres of operations with both armies, including Iraq and Afghanistan. His last appointment with the NZDF was as an operational EOD Troop Commander within New Zealand’s Special Operations Forces. During his military career he was awarded the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery and the United States Bronze Star Medal for EOD Operations.
Iain will use his background and knowledge of EOD matters, both deployed and domestic, to assist customers in achieving the best outputs in the areas of Counter Terrorism and Explosive Safety.
