Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) is the coordinated and integrated acquisition, processing and provision of timely, accurate, relevant, coherent and assured information and intelligence to support operations and improving a local commander’s ability to make informed, coherent decisions. Land, sea, air and space platforms have critical ISR roles in supporting operations in general. In Police and military operations, a comprehensive view of tactical operations is integral to mission success. Complex intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations and systems are needed to accomplish this goal.
