Queensland Government awards grant to EPE and Grabba to accelerate the industrialisation and export of Australian sovereign uncrewed aerial systems.
Our Queensland partnership is being supported through the Sovereign Industry Development Fund to establish an integrated drone manufacturing capability across three sites in Brisbane.
The project will design, build and test drone systems and components — strengthening local capability for Defence Australia and global markets.
The project will:
✅ Establish scalable manufacturing for uncrewed aerial systems
✅ Support around 55 skilled jobs
✅ Back a veteran‑owned business with former defence personnel in its workforce
✅ Strengthen defence supply chains and advanced manufacturing capability
