Australian Navy Clearance Divers surveillance exercise

Australian Navy Clearance Divers

Not necessarily our kit… but really cool photos nonetheless!

Royal Australian Navy Clearance Divers emerge from the waters of Pittwater whilst conducting a surveillance exercise at Palm Beach in Sydney. Clearance Divers are the Australian Defence Forces’ specialist divers. Clearance Diver tasks include specialist diving missions to depths of 54 metres, surface and underwater demolitions, and the rendering safe and disposal of conventional explosive ordnance and improvised explosive devices.
