Australian Army‘s 20 EOD Squadron undertook training focused on enhancing CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) threat readiness. Facilitated by our Training Manager David McDonald, the training was conducted at EPE’s MILTECS facility utilising the tunnels network. Dave’s ability to create the full mission profile supported by realistic scenarios and challenging working devices provides a uniquely customised experience that’s outside familiar parameters, ensuring participants are well-prepared for live CBRN threats.
This rigorous CBRN training enhances the operational readiness and effectiveness of our forces, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to handle complex and dangerous situations in high threat environments. Thanks to 6ESR for the opportunity to be involved. We thank CSIRO for their support to run this training at MILTECS which is part of the CSIRO Pullenvale facility. Check out the awesome photos that highlight the realistic simulation environments.
