
Crowds gathered at the Australian War Memorial for the Currie-Monash Commemorative Dinner, celebrating the achievements of Canadian General Currie and Australian General Monash in World War I.
The third annual Currie-Monash Commemorative Dinner brought together defence, government and industry leaders from Australia and Canada. The High Commission of Canada hosted the dinner to remember the battle of Amiens, which commenced on August 8th, 1918. At Amiens, the Allies shock troops were the Canadian Corps and the Australian Corps, fighting side-by-side for the first time under their own commanders, General Arthur Currie and General John Monash. of the event and it was attended by EPE Managing Director, Warwick Penrose who was accompanied by Mike Dithurbide, President of Canadian company Allen Vanguard Corporation.
